At Ekies Resort, the outdoor restaurant area was designed to blend seamlessly with the natural Mediterranean atmosphere, combining refined aesthetics with durability for everyday hospitality use. For this project, Urbi et Orbi installed two signature pieces: the Strata concrete Stool , concrete coffee table and the Legante terrazzo Dining Table, crafted in high-performance concrete and terrazzo-inspired finishes.
The Strata Stool adds a sculptural yet minimal presence, inspired by geological layers and organic textures. Paired with the Legante Dining Table, it creates an elegant outdoor dining setting that is both timeless and functional. Built to withstand sun exposure and intensive use, these handcrafted pieces offer a long-lasting solution for hotel restaurants, resorts, and outdoor hospitality spaces, while maintaining a premium architectural identity.
Each item is produced in Greece through Urbi et Orbi’s artisan process, delivering unique surfaces, subtle tonal variations, and the strength of cement-based craftsmanship. This project at Ekies Resort demonstrates how concrete and terrazzo furniture can elevate outdoor dining environments with character, durability, and Mediterranean design sensibility.
