He graduated from the University of Darmstadt, Faculty of Design in the year of 2012 as industrial designer. Specialised in Universal Design – a process of design which includes all abilities of every kind of individual – Markus developed a unique caravan concept which is focussed on accessibility, freedom from barriers and high aesthetics. After his studies Markus has worked for Aroma ID in Offenbach, a.M. gaining experience within the fields of consumer goods, e.g. designing for customers like BRAUN.
Starting as self-employed Designer in 2015 Markus has consolidated his interest for bathroom design – especially its high value of shape-finding and material.
Following his credo “creativity depends on your open mind” Markus comprehends our positive attitude towards life and our curiosity for variety as basis for good design. Nature is Markus’ primary inspiration to develop unique shapes for aesthetic and functional products which are capable to connect people and which they benefit from. Numerous national and international design awards confirm that his design language is widely appreciated.
