Strata bollard designed by CTRL design studio.
Inspired from the principle of core sampling, the Strata bollard lamp’s unique feature is its capacity to cast light upon itself, showcasing its gradient of colors, while illuminating the surrounding area. Designed for outdoor use, the main module incorporates the lighting system, the reflecting surface for the light to hit, and the slope to prevent water from accumulating.

Strata series was designed by CTRLZAK as part of the Medius Terra collection and is inspired by natural geological formations. It captures sedimentation, erosion, and volcanic activity through stacked layers, symbolizing the passage of time. The design references the Mediterranean region’s diverse landscapes and geological phenomena, encouraging reflection on our perception of time through geology and the natural world. 

Those concrete floor lamps are produced through our company’s Zero Waste Project developed over the past 3 years, with a recycling rate of 20%. The concrete used in production is formulated with only 10% cement.
