The Strata showerbasin is designed for outdoor use and features distinctive grooves as if water eroded them over time, allowing the water to flow while not accumulating. The surface also incorporates stone-like elements that emphasize the natural reference of the soil holding onto the original design concept.

Strata was designed by CTRLZAK as part of the Medius Terra collection and is inspired by natural geological formations. It captures sedimentation, erosion, and volcanic activity through stacked layers, symbolizing the passage of time. The design references the Mediterranean region’s diverse landscapes and geological phenomena, encouraging reflection on our perception of time through geology and the natural world.
