Artist and Creative Director, Sara Ricciardi lives and works in Milan.
She studied Product Design in Milan, Istanbul, and New York.
In 2016 she opened her studio, called Pataspazio, in Milan, where together with her remarkable team of creatives she designs products for companies, limited-edition pieces for art-design galleries, performances, interiors, and installations.

Her design approach is shaped by a deep narrative exploration; every aesthetic is born from a specific story.

At the core of her method lies a unique narrative and technical research into materials and spaces.
Materials and production processes are always defined with the help of great masters of Italian artisanal excellence.

She is a collector of bizarre objects and practices Ikebana and Butoh dance.
She teaches Social Design and Relational Practices at NABA and at many international universities. She also leads intensive Design Thinking courses.
